Pinnacle names new principal

Pinnacle Actuarial Resources (Pinnacle) has appointed Aaron Hillebrandt as its new principal and consulting actuary.

Hillebrandt first joined Pinnacle in 2013, and since then has become “one of the firm’s leaders in the captive industry and alternative markets”.

Prior to this new appointment, he served as Pinnacle’s director and consulting actuary, as well as being a member of the firm’s executive team.

Managing principal Joe Herbers warmly welcomed Hillebrandt to his new role. “We are proud to announce Aaron as our newest principal,” Herbers said.

“Since joining Pinnacle, Aaron has continually provided outstanding customer service, delivered exceptional work product and demonstrated the highest level of professionalism.

“Especially noteworthy has been his tireless commitment to his colleagues, the profession and to the values of our firm.”

Having worked in the property/casualty insurance industry since 2007, Hillebrandt has a breadth of experience including serving on the Illinois State University’s Katie School of Insurance Advisory Board and chairing the Casualty Actuarial Society’s (CAS’s) Syllabus and Examination Committee.

“I am honoured to join Pinnacle’s principal group,” Hillebrandt said. “The firm’s continued growth and influence in the industry is commendable and I am proud to join the leadership team.

“I’m looking forward to contributing to that growth and influence, and doing my best for Pinnacle’s employees and clients.”
